Endrigna
ecovillage
We believe in a future where humans and nature can thrive together. We are rooted in strong values – such as the well-being of local communities, biodiversity protection, respect for traditional knowledge, cultural transmission, inclusion, and sustainability.
We take concrete action in Ampangalatsary to restore forest ecosystems.
We implement innovative practices to encourage sustainable behaviors, while actively involving the local community in improving village infrastructure. By fostering collective engagement, we ensure a strong and nature-respectful legacy for future generations.

Sponsorship for children at endrigna ecovillage
Today, around a hundred children from the Fokontany of Ampangalatsary are out of school—either because their families cannot afford the costs, or because the nearest school is over two hours away on foot, a journey especially difficult during the rainy season.
Most of their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents are illiterate. Yet these children show remarkable motivation: they want to learn. Some have already attended school and dream of going back.
Without access to education, these children risk following the same path as their elders—practicing tavy (slash-and-burn agriculture) or producing charcoal to survive, practices that gradually destroy the forest.
But with education, they can become environmental educators and advocates, capable of protecting the forest and sharing sustainable alternatives for a better future.
For those who wish to help cover their school enrollment fees,
Or for those who prefer to donate school supplies, clothing, shoes, or hygiene products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary pads, etc.
Call for nursery sponsorship
For those who wish to sponsor one or more plants and follow their development.
For those who wish to fund plants (individuals, students, associations, companies, or organizations).
For those who wish to support local nursery workers in their mission.
Together, let’s ensure that every young plant produced at Endrigna Ecovillage receives attentive care and contributes to building a sustainable forest
